ABOUT
The Idea
Xavier's Intellectual Forum provides you with a platform where you can make your thoughts and ideas heard and utilised, not only on the college level, but on the national level as well. Having a multi-faceted structure, the forum includes not only discussions and debates on the current as well as individual issues, but also works on a social and professional scale, comprising various workshops and sessions, for you to develop your personality and mindset, along with increasing your skill-set.
What makes XIF different from other forums and clubs is its acceptance and liberal approach to themes and topics from all over the globe. From movie screenings and book reviews to group discussions and social cause drives, the forum encompasses a multi-dimensional framework, allowing the members to explore and examine several fields, thereby gaining valueless knowledge and serious experience, useful in almost all future endeavours.
These, coupled with the research opportunities and acknowledgment of the papers submitted by the students, provide great scope for improving and elevating one's CV and personal development.
Along with several new activities, such as social cause drives, which would include cleanliness/hygiene drives and visits to senior centres and orphanages, XIF will also be taking its original major activities - Amicorum, Ethics on Plate, Movie Screening and Workshops - to the next level. This year, we will not only be limited to the college, but will explore and collaborate with several organisations outside too. With increased opportunities for professional and personal development, in the form of numerous workshops and online sessions, XIF will also become much more socially active.
